I (Arlene Enns) was born and raised in southern Manitoba, I loves all things art and the creation of beautiful and functional things. The dive into wearable art just seemed like a natural fit. I have been creating and teaching fine art for over 20 years now. I began in oils, switched to watercolor when my children were small, then tried acrylic, I have yet to find a medium I do not like. I have commissioned pieces across Canada, in the US and some as far as Germany. I struggle with depression and art is my therapy, a bright spot to gravitate to when I'm feeling my grasp on the world is slipping. I like nothing more than sharing creative time with others and have just this year (thanks to Covid) branched out into on line instructions, and a more visible on line presence. One of my favorite quotes is " Art doesn't have to match the furniture it should match your soul" As the eyes are the window to the soul, so art is the souls language.
