I grew up with an undiagnosed condition called amblyopia, called “lazy eye” affecting depth perception. I had no idea how it influenced my art until at the age of 30 when it was corrected. I was concerned about a shift in my painting style. I happily realized now I could enjoy having two ways of describing the world. Spatial relationships and composition are the filters that I look through. Much of my artistic expression is one of a flattened perspective, highlighting spatial relationships & color. I have expanded my artist expressions to the language of abstraction. My artwork on women's fashions has been a wonderful way to bring my work to another audience. You can see more of my journey on my Facebook Page “constantlycreating” Or look for me on Instagram- @pilatesartist I maintain a studio in at Porter Mill 95 Rantoul St. Beverly, MA
