Gratitude Studios

Hello! I am Cathy Lee, also know as marruliaminilikuluk-the dear mother of the twins, proud mom of Avinga and Aksayuk, a retired, long-time Northern educator, lover of music and the arts. Following an accident in December of 2020, in some hurricane force winds in Panniqtuuq/Pangnirtung, Nunavut, that caused significant damage to my right arm, and the ensuing CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome) and PTSD, I became immersed in painting as a healing medium and focus. The first images created have become wearable art, as a means of sharing that healing focus. Those pieces include the heartwork, celtic raven and tulugak collections. I create fine and wearable art of images in watercolour or acrylics, from Nunavut, my adopted home, and the Bruce Peninsula, my birth home. They evoke the healing nature of the land, sea and sky. There are a variety of styles that can be mixed and matched, taking you from work to play! Check out our new spring/summer collection. Take care and be well! Cathy
