Born in Flagstaff, AZ, I originally went to school for computer programming. All too quickly, I learned that the creative mind languishes when sequestered in a cubicle eight hours a day.

  Soon thereafter, I went on to a new career as a Stylist and Make-Up Artist. I found myself in Lake Tahoe for a summer and, on a whim with my best friend, we wandered off to Wisconsin. I loved it so much, I made it my home and spent the next 25 years styling the Fox Valley.

  Instinctively peripatetic, I am inspired by nature, and can often get lost in photo jaunts photographing wildlife, landscapes, plants, and insects. My favorites being birds, bees, and flowers! While I have always been a photographer and graphite artist, it is relatively recently that the worlds of colored pencils and watercolors have given me new freedom of expression.

  Along with my partner, I am a full-time traveler, roving extensively throughout North America & Mexico, and love traversing the ocean via cruise liners.

~There’s little photo fodder for a flora and fauna photographer afloat, but an artist with the tools of his trade can create anywhere!~

  You’ll notice that many of my subjects are not local and are inspirations from my travels home and abroad. I hope to inspire others to travel, explore their world, and discover the many gems this all too short life has to offer.
