Made to spread awareness of the 368 children who were still separated from their families as of June 2021 since being split apart in 2018 at the U.S./Mexican border.

This mural was made during Covid in hopes of growing through the heartbreak. "In these tumultuous times, we grow through our grief and uncertainty into a song of renewed togetherness, co-creating a world that works for all."

This 3’ x 6’ mural was created as part of the Crescent Moon Center’s summer program to build a community of support around people recovering from substance abuse disorders. The Center uses an innovative equine-assisted learning and creative arts approach to support sobriety.
