This well contemporary artist received her BFA from the University of Québec in Montréal, and has been showing her work in well-know venues in both solo and group shows for the last forty years. Born and continuing to live and work in Granby, QC, she holds several titles, received many awards, and her work can be found in numerous museum, corporate and private collections. A humanist, her travels are a deep source of inspiration that animate her works. An approach that is closely related to the concept of the passage of time and places steeped in history. “As an intuitive painter, traveling enriches my fascination with ruins and ancient artifacts. Etruscan vases, transferring images and architectural elements evoke my visits in sacred places. From Abu Simbel at St-Sophia, the treasure of Xian Soldiers to the Taj Mahal, these sites coexist with contemporary character. I am a contemplative witness to the transience of beings and the passing of their remains over time”
