Susan is a prolific artist who loves the works of Calder, Miro, Picasso, Hundertwasser and Vladimir Cora. She is hoping to make a difference with her art by creating images in the names of those who have lost their fight to pancreatic cancer as her husband of 30 years did. The signature piece is called iPlaid for Steve Jobs. A Plaid was the very first piece she created on the iPad, it was obvious she should name it iPlaid In the spirit and in Memoriam to Steve Jobs. 10% of all orders goes to Researchers for Pancreatic Cancer. So far, over 160K has been given directly to UCSD, Sanford Burnham to name a couple. Susan thanks you from the bottom of her heart for your support. Thank you for sharing iPlaid with any and all friends, family and survivors of those lost as telling the stories of those who have passed will bring awareness to those suffering now and fund researchers with your help! www.iplaid.org
It's a marvelous thing to be wrapped in color. Happy Dance inspires you just to wear it
Yes, in my mind's eyes, this is a Picasso piece as he was so clear with his designs and fun frivolity. Everyone knew he had a very unique way of expressing himself. is also one of my muses. Just love Picasso, hence, this is Pichoroso!
To the Core of it all is this piece of art. It is so soothing and great on garments. You should see it on the Nikki Duster. Try it out!
This is one of my first and most favorite Miro like pieces of art. It is so much fun to have it on garments and such a happy feeling too boot. The nikki duster sees you coming. Be sure to order phone cases on iplaid.org to match. Enjoy
This art was created on behalf of my husband who was in the nuclear power business but vanished from this earth due to Pancreatic Cancer. I have made a commitment to help find a cure through funding researchers through art. He was the Steve Jobs of nuclear power, hence, this was what he worked for his entire life - safer technology called Triso Particles residing in Pebbles which is actually happening in 2023- 10 year lafter his death.
Remember when we use to rub ink on paper and fold it. It was just a blob of darkness so i added color in the art piece and call it INK BLOB! It is colorful and has a lot of energy! Love it,
A wonderfully creative image that is happy go lucky and all about life.
Alex Trebek was a wonderful man asking the question 'What is"? on Jeopardy for many years. sadly he succumbed to pancreatic cancer and is now a part of the iPLAID program with my husband and Steve Jobs.
This piece was created for a wonderful Man named Marty Nadel who succumbed to pancreatic cancer after I worked for him for 10 years. It was a sad day for all and who would have known that my own husband, Dan Mears, would contract it years later? I just can't believe it.
How Deep Is Your Love? We know how deep it is as we made that commitment to the one we cherish. Hence, the image has a depth as in an abyss and envelops your soul and your every being. It is courageous and strong and binding as it wraps its energy around you in a veil of promise. Ahh, the strength in this feeling is simply overwhelming.
She fought the fight and lost the battle with Pancreatic Cancer but what a woman she was. She is also a part of the iPlaid program. Enjoy the strong nature and color of this woman and these garments,
This is a lovely wonderful happy heart that is oh so loved. Love you with all my heart is by far my simple favorite.
I have always loved the art of Frederich Hundertwasser and this is my take off of his work. I am inspired by his choice of color, markings and squares that never end. You will love this in the Nikki Duster!
Michael Landon, another member of the iPlaid Program has always been a truth in modern Television with his stories and down home balance on his famous shoe called "Little House on the Prairie". He too was taken by the silent killer we call pancreatic cancer- Gone too soon.
Ahh, the happy feeling you have when you wear Splashing Dots! It is so much fun. Colorful, exciting and almost like a party wrapped up all around you! It comes in various forms on lots of garments, totes, dresses, wraps, cardigans and more. See for yourself.
The Win Bar is one of my favorites as it is a soft-flowing yet striking design that captures your attention when you walk through the door. There is an immediate all eyes on you for sure.
He was another that succummed to pancreatic cancer but is in the iPLAID Program because of that. the disease knows no boundaries but it knows we are fighting for a cure. Like my husband, he was gone too soon, and we are going to find a cure to help those who are still here.
